Why Pick up the Poop?

Dog waste is NOT fertilizer

Dog waste does not fully breakdown on its own. It can damage your lawn causing unsightly brown spots and killing grass. It also stinks!

Poop Carries Diseases

Harmful bacteria, parasites, and potential illnesses that can wreak havoc on human and pet health alike. It can become a breeding ground for microorganisms.

Dog poop is a pollutant

Did you know the Environmental Protection Agency classifies dog poop as a pollutant, in the same category as oil spills, herbicides, insecticides, and salt from irrigation practices, because of the nutrients and pathogens that leach into soil and water, and impact wildlife, plant growth, and human health.

Billing occurs on the 1st of each month prior to services  provided. You must have a valid credit card on file, no exceptions.

Weekly service is calculated using 52 weeks per year (4.333 weeks per month). Bi-weekly service is calculated using 26 visits per year (2.162 visits per month). Because billing is averaged, you monthly rate may be higher in order to create a consistent rate all year round.

If the customer’s card is declined, we will discontinue service immediately until the issue has been resolved.  A late fee of $20.00 will be applied to an account starting the day after the invoice due date.

Your technician will scoop the backyard, front yard, and side of the house upon request. We service up to 1/8 of an acre, for larger yards it is an additional fee. After scooping the poop, your technician will either take it with them for an additional fee or leave it in your trash can.

We love dogs, but we will not enter a yard if the dog(s) are outside unattended by the owner. This is for our safety.

It is the customer’s responsibility to maintain a yard free of clutter, overgrown grass, or other obstructions that may prevent Scoopers Dog Waste Removal LLC and its representatives from performing their duties in an effective manner. Scoopers Dog Waste Removal LLC is not responsible for missed pet waste if such conditions exist.

The Scooper will not walk through dense trees or brush to remove the poop.

  • Thanksgiving week – Scoopers is closed on Thanksgiving day and remains closed through the weekend. Scoopers resumes services the following Monday.
  • Christmas and New Year’s – Scoopers is closed from December 24 – January 2. Scoopers resumes services on January 4.

Following Thanksgiving and Christmas closures, Scoopers will perform a double-duty cleanup since a service was skipped. Scoopers technicians will be cleaning up double the dog waste and spending twice as much time cleaning your yard. There are no refunds for skipped holiday cleanings. You will be charged at your normal rate.

A notification will be sent when a technician is scheduled to arrive within 30-60 minutes. Customers are not required to be home during the time of service, we simply ask for easy access to the cleaning areas and that no aggressive dogs be left out in the yard.

YES! Every yard, every time. We take every measure to prevent the spread of disease and insects from one yard to the next.

Effective 12/1/25 we will no longer take the waste away.

We will place the waste in your trash receptacle. If your trash bin is not outside, we will double bag the waste to make it presentable and place it next to your gate.

You are not required to be home at the time of service. We will send you a message before arrival and send a picture of the completed job before we leave.

Scoopers requires a 3-month service commitment for all new customers. After the initial 3 months, services may be canceled at any time for any reason with a 72-hour notice. Customers can cancel by calling, sending a text message, or updating their subscription through the customer portal.

If you cancel service before completing the 3-month commitment, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $150.00.

Customers that pause services for certain times of the year will be subject to initial cleanup fees, when they return to their subscription.

If a customer cancels services halfway through the month, they will be charged immediately for services that have previously occurred.

If Scoopers is unable to access your yard because your gate has been locked you will still be charged for the cleaning.

Your Scoopers Technician will knock at your door, attempt to call you, and send you a text message, before skipping your yard cleanup for that day.
